Sales Agreement for the Purchase of a Parrot

This Sales Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on the date of purchase between Sarah Parrots 4 Homes (“Seller”) and the buyer (“Buyer”). By completing this purchase, the Buyer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Parrot Information:

• Species/Breed: [Parrot Species]

2. Purchase Price:

• The total purchase price for the parrot is £250, including any applicable taxes and fees.

3. Payment Terms:

• Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

• A non-refundable deposit of £400 is required to hold the parrot until full payment is received.

4. Health Guarantee:

• The Seller guarantees that the parrot is in good health at the time of sale.
• The Buyer has 7 days from the date of receipt to have the parrot examined by a licensed avian veterinarian.
• If the parrot is found to have a pre-existing health condition, the Buyer may return the parrot for a full refund or replacement, provided that documentation from the veterinarian is supplied.

5. Transfer of Ownership:

• Ownership of the parrot transfers to the Buyer upon receipt of full payment.
• The Seller will provide the Buyer with all relevant documentation, including health records, care instructions, and any registration papers.

6. Return Policy:

• Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase, subject to a [Restocking Fee/Condition] and provided that the parrot is in the same condition as when it was sold.
• Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

7. Care and Welfare:

• The Buyer agrees to provide proper care, nutrition, and housing for the parrot.
• The Buyer acknowledges that parrots require specialized care and agrees to seek advice and support as needed.

8. Breeding and Resale:

• The parrot is sold as a pet and not for breeding purposes unless specifically agreed upon in writing.
• If the Buyer wishes to resell the parrot, the Seller must be given the first option to repurchase.

9. Limitation of Liability:

• The Seller is not liable for any damages or injuries caused by the parrot after the sale.
• The Seller makes no warranties or representations other than those explicitly stated in this Agreement.

10. Governing Law:

• This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [State/Country].
